EP.9 Endometriosis, Workplace Discrimination & Employment Rights With Sanju Pal

After being unfairly dismissed from Accenture following surgery for severe endometriosis, Sanju Pal refused to accept what had happened. What followed was more than seven years fighting for justice, culminating in Pal v Accenture, with judgment handed down on 19 January 2026. The case has helped shape conversations around endometriosis, disability and employers' responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010.

In this powerful episode of Owning Space, we discuss endometriosis, workplace discrimination, invisible illness, employment rights, resilience and what still needs to change to create fairer, more inclusive workplaces for people living with chronic illnesses.
